Sea adventures in cooperation with Ventdusud.org and Globetrotters.org

The sailing and boating club "Vent du Sud - Southwind" was created in 2011 to promote discovery of the nautical world, nautical sports, training and related outdoor activities, including environmental education and training. The club is registered in France and based in Port Saint Cyprien, the most important port in the Golfe du Lion, Languedoc Roussillon. Globetrotters was founded in Denmark in 1973 as an adventure travel club.

When you join us as a paying guest (read "crew") or taking a sailing course with us, whether on a day sail or a week long cruise, you enable us to offer disadvantaged young people an introduction to the maritime world, including seamanship training and environmental awareness trips. We are a registered non-profit, and any revenue from paid activites are fully applied towards our mission.

France, Spain and Belize 2013:
The warm waters of the Caribbean in winter, and a warm breeze off the Western Mediterranean coast in the summer... 2 yachting opportunities, from ½ day-trips to a week of maritime adventure. For those interested, sailing tuition will be available. Individual and small groups.

Western Mediterranean: (April to October)
Sailing courses with certified instructor/skipper Argeles-sur-Mer, with Beneteau First 32S5.
Individuals: Half-day (3 hours), full day or two days. Leisure sailing for family or groups up to 6 persons, from €195 to €410. Contact.

Sailing trips along the Catalonian coast, Spain and France, experienced skipper, with Jeanneau Sangria. Half-day €200, or full day with lunch €400. Up to 4 persons. Contact.

Menorca Cruising school and charter - 5-day RYA Day Skipper practical course. Request details.

Bare boat rental: Bavaria 44 from Canet, France, from €1500 to €2500 per week. Skipper optional €800.

Belize/Caribbean (winter)
Your own 50 ft Luxury Catamaran, Lagoon 500, 3 double cabins, with experienced owner/crew Cliff and Sherry. Up to a week all-inclusive cruise in luxury catamaran January, March and April. Please enquire about specific dates. US$ 2.015 per day for 6 persons, includes all meals, served to a gourmet quality, use of the water toys (kayaks, snorkeling gear, fishing tackle, float toys, etc. Flights not included.       Sea Kayak adventures
Together with the dedicated paddlers of Ussuk Kayak Adventures, we can offer some new guided sea kayaking tours in spectacular paddling locations, among others the beautiful Gulf Islands in Canada's British Columbia. In the Mediterranean Sea, we offer a tour along Catalonia's northern coastline in Spain and France. Request details.

      Maritime camping: Holiday on a yacht in St. Cyprien France. In the port or day sailing along Cote Rocheuse. Payment goes towards port fees for the association. Membership €20 per year. Secretbays.com
